A commonbox is a group 'money pool.'
A money pool is a collection of money to pay for an event.
You can create a commonbox to collect money from a group of people to purchase whatever you like.

It's very easy to create an online money pool:

• click on ' create' in the main menu
• fill out the requested information and edit the options if need be.
• Your commonbox is created. You can invite your contacts to contribute to it.

Each commonbox is accessible via an address displayed on the page 'invite'
You can share this address with your contacts if you like.
commonbox provides 2 tools to help you with this process:

1. by e-mail: send an e-mail to your contacts to tell them about your event.
2. by banner: if you have a website or blog, you can add a banner to it (widget)

if you want to protect your commonbox with a password, just check the option 'password' when you create your commonbox, or add it in the options if you already created a commonbox.

Go to the page use, you have several choices:

• buy a product in an online store
• keep the money on your PayPal account or transfer them to your personal bank account
• make a donation

After receiving an invitation to contribute, go to this commonbox's form.
According to the Organizer's choice, you'll be able to:

• contribute by credit or debit card: you will then be asked to contribute to the group money pool by entering your card information
• contribute through Paypal: you just have to enter your PayPal e-mail to contribute
• contribute cash: this is a donation pledge that you make to the commonbox Organizer. You will have to give your contribution to the Organizer in person.
• contribute via bank transfer: this means that you promise to donate via bank transfer. Commonbox will provide you with the Organizer's bank account details, then you will be able to make a transfer to his or her account.

If your friend has created a public commonbox:

• Search for the event in the search engine.
• If you can't find it, ask him to send you an invitation directly

If your friend has created a private commonbox:

• Your friend probably invited you to the event; in this case, you received the invitation by e-mail. Check your e-mail inbox!
• Did your friend forget to invite you? Ask him to invite you directly to his commonbox, since private commonboxes are accessible only with an invitation.
